Safe Space served
752 new clients of those 729 were provided comprehensive DV services and 23 were provided sexual assault services. Keep in mind that these services were provided by our three full time advocates.
In addition to the 752 new clients, we also provided:
55 people resided in the shelter for 60+ days
61 clients received Latina services that included court advocacy, support group, personal advocacy to address the special needs of this growing population who need assistance.
211 Lethality Assessment Protocol calls from law enforcement in 2017 that identified victims of domestic violence as being at risk for homicide based on the protocol questionnaire. Those at risk were provided information about Safe Space, safety planning and offered shelter.
121 folks were provided legal services as it related to obtaining a 50B or 50C protective order.
56 people participated in the women and children trauma recovery groups

425 students within the Franklin County Middle School system received evidenced based primary prevention through the implementation of Shifting Boundaries through the Rape Prevention and Education Program funded by Dept. of Health and Human Services.
Safe Space provided outreach services to 2,952 community members through awareness events, training and faith based initiatives.
