This hands-on training is intended for people at the beginning stages of implementing prevention programming or those that have some experience, but need some more guidance. Attendees will learn the basics of primary prevention, discuss what research suggests causes sexual violence, learn about the evidence-based and innovative models for prevention programming, and create an action plan for beginning implementation in their communities. In addition, we will provide information on how NCCASA can help local member agencies develop prevention programming.
This training will be conducted by JP Przewoznik, NCCASA’s Director of Prevention and Evaluation.
The training will be from 9:15am – 4:30pm with registration from 9:00am – 9:15am. There will be an hour break for lunch on your own. Please note that breakfast, coffee, lunch, and snacks are not provided. This training is free for NCCASA members and $10.00 for non-members. Participants will be provided with the training address after registering. To register
